We hire our parklike grounds, lodge, and outdoor marque as spaces for health and wellness retreats, weddings and creative workshops.
As event and wedding decorators, we provide personalized event styling services and have everything you need on-site!

VENUE HIRE OPTIONS

Full Property Hire
$2000/day
This option includes use of the clear marquee, lodge (lounges + commercial kitchen), and parklike grounds. The marquee is large enough to seat 60 guests at tables with enough space for a band, lounging seats, and room for dancing. Without dancing and lounging spaces, the marquee can fit up to 100 seated guests.

Grounds + Lodge
$500/day
This option includes use of the lodge and parklike grounds, but not the marquee. The lodge is your indoor option and seats up to 30 people.

Grounds Only
$200/2-3 hours
If you are a yoga instructor or run health/well-being classes, we can hire our grounds for 2-3 hours at a cheaper rate. This option is not available for weddings or events.

General Information
Event Styling
At Riverside Retreat Thompson's Track, we offer personalised event styling services to support your big day. Cloe and Alan have been decorating events in the Bay of Plenty for 7 years as Cloe’s Creationz, and now bring their services to Riverside Retreat Thompson's Track. Overnight Stay
If you would like to stay the night before or after your event (recommended for weddings), we have two queen chalets available for hire on our lower grounds. They are $350 per night to hire, and include a breakfast. For more information, please see our AirBNB info page.
Catering & Entertainment Services
Whilst we do not offer catering services, we have a commercial kitchen and allow you to organise other small businesses to support your event. This may include chefs, grazing services, bands, celebrants, and cocktail bars (just as long as they’re licensed). We can recommend our favourites that are reasonably priced.
Transport & Event Parking
We can accommodate up to 35 cars in our on-site parking.
For larger groups, we recommend organizing how guests would get home, such as buses or carpooling with sober drivers. We are happy to discuss these logistics with you.
